Donatoni has decided to revamp its image to give shape to all the changes it has experienced in the past few years and to communicate its most recent innovation-oriented approach.
The new logo and the new brand identity show Donatoni for what it actually is: a healthy, dynamic and continually evolving company that over the years has created innovative solutions, yet keeping qualitative standards and service as founding principles of its approach to customers.
The new corporate image combines the evolution and the latest achievements of Donatoni in one single and distinctive brand identity and it additionally represents – in continuity with the past – how the company is willing to tackle the global market in the years to come.
Giorgio Donatoni, the company owner, is firmly convinced about this: «The renewal of the corporate image is a necessary step – almost mandatory, I would say – as the company has evolved compared to 5 years ago and today, although still loyal to its values, it is faced with new challenges that are more and more global. This requires the company to tackle the market with a new approach, to manufacture increasingly more digital and interconnected products and solutions, and to communicate using a multitude of channels. The value and purpose of the new brand identity are expressed by the new company positioning as “Stone tech creators”.
The foundations on which this project is based are Donatoni’s Mission, Vision and Values. This is where the process to build the new logo and to implement the new Brand Identity started off. The letters “D” and “V” intertwined in the logo represent the evolution of the brand, yet holding on to its history that started back in 1959 and is closely connected to the territory of the Verona marble district, this forming the base from which Donatoni will leave the nest to find its place in the increasingly more global market. The new, fully renewed logotype expresses this intention wholly and it firmly establishes how valuable this target is.
The ongoing investments, new machinery and software, as well as projects like the Donatoni Academy are additional proof of how important and significant this evolution is to continue to grow.
