In the video reportage produced by Donatoni in collaboration with photographer and journalist Richard Watzke, master craftsman Mario Michl opens the doors of his company to share his experience with Donatoni, a reliable technological partner for over 12 years. The video is the first in a series dedicated to stone artisans who have achieved success thanks to Donatoni’s innovative machines.

Filmed directly at the headquarters of Marmor Michl in Friedberg (Bavaria), the reportage documents a real working day: the team programmed and loaded two Donatoni bridge saws in real time – the long-standing D825 and the more recent JET 625 with the TOOL+ module.

The video showcases the processing of various elements, from kitchen countertops to sinks and bathroom panels, highlighting the versatility of the machines.

Marmor Michl is a family-run business with seven employees, active in several sectors: high-end interior finishes, solid stonework, funerary monuments, and much more. To ensure fast delivery times and high quality, choosing robust, precise, and multifunctional machines is essential.

Mario Michl explains how his first Donatoni – a D825 with a rotating head – is still running perfectly today, with only a minor fault that was resolved within 48 hours thanks to the efficient technical support.

The excellent experience with Donatoni’s service led him to choose the brand again, without hesitation, for his second machine, the JET 625, equipped with a vacuum lifter and a digital slab detection system.

The video, created in collaboration with photographer and journalist Richard Watzke – author of the renowned manual Der Steinmetz conveys authenticity and artisanal passion. For Michl, Donatoni technology and service are “a clear recommendation.”

The reportage is available on Donatoni’s official YouTube channel.
